Lime Mortar is a traditional building material that was used to hold stone structures together long before modern building materials.  It allowed building to move and settle,  But this material had a downside and by using this material they mortar would become dry and crumble after years and then start to allow the weather to get into the limestone and cause damage resulting in crumbling of walls.  Stag Tree & Boundary can offer reconstruction and maintenance of historic walls and buildings.  The skills offered include building, pointing, Lime Wash and Lime Renders to existing structures.
